Beyonce' in Fashion Rocks
Here we find B modeling an Armani suit for the new issue of Fashion Rocks.
About the issue:
Fashion Rocks is a special magazine that will be included with the September issues of Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair and Allure magazines. The magazine is a tie-in with the big Fashion Rocks concert at Radio City Music Hall on the opening night of Fashion Week in New York on September 5.
Beyonce' looks good. Don't think I'm seeing any baby bump! Guess time will tell.

Okay, we remember Kel Mitchell from the "Keenan & Kel" TV Show. Well lately, he's been up to spoofing artists. The latest, Usher. Except Kel isn't singing "Love in This Club", he's singing "Love With Nubs".

The 29-year-old talent said he decided to reinterpret the Usher track because he's a fan of the singer.
"I just feel like Usher does it right," Mitchell explained. "Just when everyone starts to say, 'Dang, I wonder what Usher been up to?' Then, bam! He drops a hot single. That's how I felt everyone was asking about me. 'Where's Kel at? I wonder what he gone do next?' I felt it was time to comeback hard and this is just phase-one in the surprises."

Looks like Omarosa hasn't had enough after her Wendy Williams showdown that took place almost two weeks ago! Read this via intouchweekly.com:

What are your thoughts on black Hollywood?
It’s kind of like the Wild West out there, and not just for black Hollywood. In a traditional sense, things look bad—there are people out of work, shows aren’t going up and a lot of films aren’t being made, because of the fear of actors going on strike. But I think it’s a real fertile time to stake your claim. With things up in the air, it creates new space for people who are trying to break through, business-wise.
The same can be said about the music business, yet you’re still dropping a new album.I found my voice with this album, The Light. I can never stop singing. Remember, I recorded my first album [1998’s Kiss the Sky, MJJ Music] when I was 16, and other people wrote most of the songs. I really wanted the next album that I did to express who I am. And the only way I can do that is to write it myself. So in that sense, I found my voice.
Did you also recruit a gaggle of producers like last time?
No, I finally paired up with a producer named Johnny J, who has sold 100 million albums worldwide and is responsible for a lot of 2Pac’s music.
You’re not going to start rocking bandannas and have THUG LIFE tatted on your body, are you?
Absolutely not, not that there’s anything wrong with that. It’s not my personal style. But I’m not gangster—no THUG LIFE tatted on my chest [laughs].

I don't know whats up with this girl but I sure hope it some type of creative expression that will help to produce a crazy album, because if she's dressing this way just for kicks I'm really going to start to worry ;-)

Oh No... Trina and Kenyon Martin Get in a Car Crash!
NBA star Kenyon Martin and rapper Trina were involved in a car accident on Friday in Belize! While they were okay I hear two kids were injured. For more info peep this via trinafan.com:
Trina and Kenyon Martin left in another vehicle and so did their luggage. The Abrahams meanwhile were assisted by paramedics. 12 year old Delane was seriously hurt and had to be carried on a stretcher. Diane Finnegan is one of the organizers of the visit.
Not for nothing but I wonder how Kenyon's wife is feeling right about now... pretty well I'm assuming cause them steady checks that will be coming in should be looking real good right about now!

Did You See the CNN special "Black in America?"
Like many of you all I tuned into CNN to watch the CNN special "Black in America" which was hosted by corespondent Soledad O’ Brien. Am I the only one who felt that this special was a bit pointless as it only reflected on things that Blacks who watch CNN and similar networks already know! What are your thoughts? Read the article below to get a take on the show from Karen Hunter:
“Who is watching “Black in America” on CNN? I ask the question because it was raging inside of me as I listened to pundits and experts, educators and pastors, business professionals and actors—all attempting to make sense and give shape to what it means to be black in America.
I asked the very same question after Tavis Smiley produced the “The Covenant with Black America” a few years ago. That book sold millions of copies, and was the topic of quite a few talk shows.
Is Shaniqua living in a tenement in Brooklyn with five babies by five different “men” watching? Is James, who stands on a corner in Baltimore selling crack cocaine to his community watching? T-Bone, a Blood from South Central and his boys and rival Crips from cross-town, are they watching? Janice, who dropped out of Somerville High School in Massachusetts, will she be tuning in?
I doubt it. And here in lies the problem with shows like “Black in America,” and books like “The Covenant with Black America” they don’t reach the people who need to hear and read it most. The people who need to change, probably won’t be tuning in—which is why years after the Million Man March and years after The Covenant with Black America and years after Black in America, nothing will change. ”

According to STAR magazine Diddy and Cassie are now engaged! The magazine says that Diddy pooped the big question at Justin (his oldest son"s) eigth grade graduation! I know your dying for the details so check em out right about.... now:
[Diddy] is quietly telling close friends that he and Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura are headed to the chapel. "He told everyone to keep it extremely quiet because he didn't want it to get out, but you could tell he was excited," says a source.

Seems like Kim Kardashian may have some explaining to do to her boy toy Reggie Bush! According to rock star Shana Moakler (Wife of rock drummer Travis Barker)her and Kim had an altercation about Kim getting a little too close for comfort with married men! You all may remember Travis and Shana from their MTV reality show a couple years back! In any event check out what Shana had to say in a recent interview with The Dirty:

Shanna: Yea! I was at this bbq and I saw what I thought was a donkey posing on the stairs but much to my surprise, it was Kim Kardashian. No, wait, it was a donkey! She’s soooo f*cking fat! I went to grab my things and go when my girlfriend asked me where I was going. I just told her I absolutely didn’t want to be there if that whore was there. Then, Reggie comes up and says (Shanna switches to a Mr. T voice) “YO! Be careful what you say!” And I was like “Your girls a whore!” and he said it again - “Be careful what you say.” and I just told him again - “Your girl’s a whore!” I seriously don’t understand, can someone explain to me why these men defend these girls who literally have a different tongue in them every night?! If your woman wants to f*ck married men and ruin families, you better expect a pissed of ex-wife is going to come out! It floors me when they’re so shocked and awed by this! Ugh, so he (Reggie) came in and was trying to be really nice and I actually liked him! I just felt bad for him because he was defending her and he has no clue why I was event upset. …I’ve got some e-mails he should probably read.

Foxy Brown "Me and Jay have history"
In her current interview with XXL mag Foxy Brown goes into detail about her history with Jay Z and why she has loyalty to me after all theses years! Read on:
A lot of things have happened over the years between Jay and I,” she says of the man who signed her to a multimillion-dollar deal at Def Jam in 2005, nine years after their classic duet “Ain’t No Nigga” gave him his first radio hit.
“But there’s an unbreakable bond that will never die. 50 wanted me to be part of his team so bad. He was like, ‘Look, I’ll do it with Jay, half and half.’ And, of course, Jay said no. At one point, 50 asked, ‘Why do you have so much loyalty to this Nigga?’ Jay and I have history. There are things that he could have done better, as far as his loyalty to me, and I’m sure I’ve made mistakes that he felt he could’ve prevented.” Foxy chokes up. “When I lost my hearing, Jay gave me the respect to go heal myself. He stuck with me along the way. But there are times when I just really needed him, and it wasn’t even about Foxy Brown and Jay-Z. It was just like, ‘I need you to help me save my life,’ and he just wasn’t there.”

Trouble in Paradise.. Day 26 Confront Diddy!
Looks like Day 26 is having some troubles with their label and boss Diddy. According to my sources Day 26 is upset about not receiving compensation for some shows they did during a tour! I hear that the group confronted Diddy about it and things got heated. I also hear that MTV cameras were there to catch all of it on tape for the new season of making the band! Which leads me to believe that this could all be for show.. but knowing Diddy and his shady business plans I'm sure its not!

Awww No........Natalie Cole Has Hep C!
Looks like living the party life has caught up to Natalie Cole, the singer was recently diagnosed with Hepatitis C. Read below:
Natalie Cole has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C. The Grammy-winning singer, 58, discovered she had the disease during a routine visit to the doctor, but is responding well to treatment.
“Natalie has had a terrific response to her medication and is now virus negative,” Dr. Graham Woolf, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at U.C.L.A./Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, said in a statement.” This gives her an increased chance of cure.”
Doctors believe that Cole’s illness is likely the result of drug usage decades ago, which she documented her 2000 autobiography, “Angel On My Shoulder.”
We wish her the best and a great recovery!
