Chris Brown Not the Reason Why Beyonce and Jay-Z Did Not Attend BET Awards

Since Sunday’s BET Awards there have been several speculations about why Beyonce and Jay-Z did not attend the show, and according to BET executive Stephen Hill Chris Brown had nothing to do with it.  Peep what he told All Hip Hop.com below.

They missed the awards, because…we have this conversation almost every year. And, some years we are really fortunate when Jay-Z and Beyonce are in the house and other times, they go on vacation. But I can absolutely say without reservation that there was no conversation at all around, “If Chris Brown’s coming, I’m not coming.” That’s just false.

Is Papa Knowles Hatin’ on Letoya Luckett?

According to a source Matthew Knowles (a.k.a. Beyonce’s daddy) has been paying off radio stations to not play Letoya’s new single “Regret”.  Remember this is not the first time that Matthew Knowles has been accused of shady business toward her, back in the summer there were rumors that he would not allow Beyonce to perform at the BET Awards if Letoya did.  SMH

Is Beyonce Lying about Being a Songwriter?

This is isn’t the first time that Beyonce has been put on blast for not actually being a songwriter, but according to an inside source she didn’t write any of the songs on her “I Am…Sasha Fierce” album.  Here is what they had to say.

A lot of these artists claim to be songwriters, but don’t always write a thing. Some, like Beyonce, serve as vocal arrangements, which points to part of the song’s composition, and thus, receive a songwriting and production credit. Others, like Beyonce, can demand credit based on their name alone. I myself have heard of new song writers looking for placement with Beyonce’s last album being told Beyonce demands a certain amount of publishing upfront (and it’s substantial) or they could “be paid handsomely” to politely remove their name from the song altogether. Fact is, Beyonce didn’t write one song on “I Am…Sasha Fierce.” Beyonce and her team have bought the rights from the songwriters and then Beyonce took credit for it. I have no idea about previous albums but it’s obvious that Beyonce never had a pen in her hand, which is a shame because Beyonce claims something she isn’t.

BEYONCE ON THE GRIND

The Malaysian entertainment company responsible for Beyonce's upcoming concert in the country has assured the Muslim-majority country that her show will not violate any decency laws.      

As previously reported, the singer had to back out of a concert in Malaysia two years ago after the Islamic party threatened to protest the show due to her provocative clothes and concert choreography.

SOMEBODY DOESN’T WANT TO SEE BEYONCE’S BODY

Beyonce has booked an October show in Malaysia, marking a second attempt to rock the Muslim-majority country after having to cancel a 2007 show when protesters challenged her sexy image and clothing.      

Conservatives in the country are already showing concern, as female performers are required to cover up from the shoulders to knees with no cleavage showing.

BEYONCE BEING SUED BY ABERCROMBIE

SAN FRANCISCO and NEW YORK (Reuters) – A battle between the pop star and the fashion brand just turned fierce.

Abercrombie & Fitch Co, the apparel retailer known for sexy advertising and casual looks, has sued the singer Beyonce Knowles, claiming her plan for a new fragrance to be launched in early 2010 infringes on its existing trademark.

In a federal lawsuit filed on Tuesday in Columbus, Ohio, Abercrombie claims a fragrance under the singer's "Sasha Fierce" label "poses a likelihood of confusion" with the retailer's own "Fierce" brand.

BEYONCE AND JAY-Z HAS A “DATE NITE”

JAY-Z makes time in his busy schedule to maintain a special tradition with wife BEYONCE

the couple eats pizza together every week.
The stars, who married in a private ceremony in 2008, both clear their hectic workloads on the weekend to keep their romance alive, sitting down at a small restaurant in the rapper's native Brooklyn, New York.
Jay-Z explains, "There's a great pizza spot we go to every Sunday. It's our tradition. It's a small place in Brooklyn - you can bring your own wine and there are candles there. It's a nice date."

THEY SAY BEYONCE KINDNESS WAS STAGED

According to sources, Mathew Knowles was the one who consoled Taylor backstage before the staged moment and encouraged Beyonce to share her spotlight with Taylor as a kind gesture after the whole Kanye incident.

Among those who did offer support backstage was Beyonce’s dad, Mathew, who comforted Taylor and her family, and arranged the moment in which Beyonce gave Swift a second chance at the spotlight. A spokeswoman for Taylor says she’s been overwhelmed by her fellow musicians’ “kindness, support and generosity.”

JAY-Z MAD AT BEYONCE FOR BEING DISLOYAL

According to insiders, it turns out that Jigga is pissed at Beyonce for being disloyal to him and Kanye after the crazy incident at the VMAs. Jay was apparently upset for the way MTV execs treated him. They asked him to apologize for what he did to Taylor Swift, but Kanye refused and chose to leave the event instead. Jay stood by him.

Apparently, Jay was irritated with what Beyonce did by inviting Swift on stage later during the show. He considered it a sign of disloyalty. Guess what? Jay left the show without Beyonce and attended after parties with Rihanna.

I guess Beyonce will have to find a new pet camel.

Beyonce Gets Sued by Designer

Designer Chris March is upset with Beyonce for not paying him for the design work he did for her I am…Tour.  According to him Beyonce owes him $43,500, and since it has taken her so long to pay he has decided to take the DIVA to court.  I wonder what her excuse for not paying is???

Many of my besties in the blogosphere clown on the Knowles sisters. Not because of their talent, Lord knows both of these beautiful Houston women can entertain like nobody's biz. It's because of their hair.

My amiga Fresh of Crunk and Disorderly coined the term "wig crypt" for the Knowles family, and my other amiga Luvvie, well she'd just refer to Beyonce's typical hairstyle as a flammable hairhat.

We try not to bring that kind of judgment over here at BV Hair Talk.

Is Beyonce Going to be Playing a Lesbian in Her Next Film???

There are several rumors going around that Beyonce will be playing in the upcoming movie Tipping the Velvet which is about two lesbian lovers.  According to some sites the movie is listed under “upcoming projects” for Beyonce on IMDB which is a movie based website.  Regardless I can’t imagine Poppa Knowles allowing this to go down.

Jay- Z and Beyonce Receive Death Threats

Leon Desmond Barrett of Detroit has been charged for sending celebrities Beyonce, Jay-Z, and  NFL Hall of Famer Roger Goodell death letters.  Barrett first began sending the letters to Goodell in 2006 and in the most recent letter is when he threatened Jay-Z and Beyonce.  Barrett has been ordered by a judge to not possess guns or other dangerous weapons and to not communicate with his potential victims.

Beyonce in Talk to Stay in Las Vegas

Beyonce and her mama Mrs. Knowles are in talk with Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas to schedule Beyonce to do a year round tour there for 3 years, similar to those of Celine Dion and Toni Braxton. As of now nothing is set in stone and personally I don’t see this happening anytime in the near future because Beyonce’s career is to big to be scheduled in just one city.

According to the New York Post Beyonce has been lying about some of the tracks she has written, and that she actually paid others to say she wrote them.  Read what the Post is reporting below.

Ms. Jay-Z has been called out by two different R&B ladies for not writing songs she claims are hers. According to Rap-Up magazine, Chrisette Michele revealed that Beyonce's hit single "Ego" was originally meant for her own album "Epiphany" but she decided to hand it over to the Queen B. And here is the shady part: The track is credited to producer Elvis Williams, Beyonce Knowles and Harold Lilly ... not vocal Goddess Chrisette. (Update: Beyonce was not mentioned by Christette as a writer on "Ego" when offered the song, which she turned down but did not write).

Michele says, "It was really scary for me to release my pen because I had written my first album myself. You don't know if they're going to be able to capture your voice the same way that you captured it yourself."

Something about these rumors seem a little sketchy because it is pretty obvious that someone is a Beyonce hater.

MediaTakeOut.com just learned that rapper Jay Z and The Game’s feud just got a whole lot deeper. Apparently The Game is now bringing Beyonce into the beef.It all started a few weeks ago, when Jay Z mentioned The Game in one of his Freestyles. Jay said the following:
