The man charged with stalking Ryan Seacrest has been sentenced to two years in prison, the Associated Press reports.
A judge in Los Angeles gave Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr. the maximum sentence on Monday. He has been in jail ever since his October arrest at E! Entertainment Television studios, where he tried to reach Seacrest. Court filings say he was carrying a knife.
The 26-year-old had previously pleaded no contest to stalking the “American Idol” host.
