*Shirley Sherrod has reconciled with the NAACP, the civil rights group who was quick to condemn her after a video was altered to make her appear racist.
The NAACP had initially released a statement supporting her removal from the Agriculture Department within the first day or so after blogger Andrew Breitbart posted the video. But the next day, the organization retracted its statement, and NAACP president Ben Jealous issued an apology, saying the group had been “snookered.”
