*You’ve probably seen the sensational Sesame Street video “I Love My Hair.” It’s such a cute and touching message.
Well, the writer of the song and creator of the video, Joseph Mazzarino, told CNN what inspired him.
“I noticed that when she was four that she wanted to have princess hair and blond hair,” he says of his adopted daughter, who is from Ethiopia. “Then when Chris Rock’s ‘Good Hair’ came out I realized this was a broader issue.”
