*Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, who was designated as the team’s franchise player on Feb. 15, signed the franchise tender today and was given a one-year contract extension, according to ESPN.
Vick was one of three players to receive the “exclusive” franchise tag, which bars players from talking to other teams once free agency begins.
