A few posts today prove to me that celebrities can choose to be in or out of the public eye. Amanda Peet, 35, had her first child, Frances Pen, this February. There have been no cheesy baby spreads and no paparazzi hounding her. In fact, it appears that this People story about Peet and motherhood happened on the red carpet of an Oscar de la Renta store opening. Bravo, Amanda!
