Her adoption of David Banda sparked controversy almost six months ago as Malawian activists claimed Madonna used her wealth and prestige to sidestep a law requiring foreign adoptive parents to live in the country for 18 months.
A source said: "David has integrated perfectly into Madonna and Guy Ritchie's family.Blogger: Celebrity Baby News - Create Post"He gets on really well with their other children, Rocco and Lourdes. But Madonna feels it would be good for him to also know his biological father and learn about his roots and where he comes from."
Madonna's US publicist Liz Rosenberg said: "I can confirm that Madonna is planning a trip to Malawi quite soon. "She's going to continue her work with the Raising Malawi Orphan Care Initiative, including the building of a children's care centre. If her trip there brings attention to the tremendous need to help the children of that country, then so be it. No one objects to that."
