Sources have been saying that the UPN sitcom Girlfriends is cancelled and will not shot a finale episode. They also went on to say that producers and directors were in contacts trying to get Jill Marie back as well. In any event the source says this is critical to inform people of because ”Toni Childs” leaving is the biggest complaint that the cast and crew have encountered about the show and one that they would have answered had they been given the opportunity.
Bringing Jill back is something they have wanted to do for a long time and there was a story arc in place to include that in the season finale. In a desperate plea for help sources have sent over the DIRECT contact info for the offices of head execs in charge. They made clear that general contacts most likely won’t get the message to them.
