LL Cool J will release his last Def Jam Records album, "Exit 13" on July 18th. LL has been with Def Jam for over 20 years. The first single from the album will be "I Cry" featuring Lil' Mo.

If diamonds are a indicator of love, Rihanna & Chris will remain in heavenly bliss. Rumor has it that Chris recently bought Rihanna a $100,000 necklace. Jewelry designer, Jason Arasheben, states that:

“Chris went for the heart theme. He said, ‘She’s going to love this because she loves hearts…..’”“Rihanna gave specific instructions about Chris’ gift. She was very particular about wanting the cross to match his other jewelry.”

Fire at 50 Cent's House

50 Cent's home caught on fire today. 50 wasn't at home; he's away filming a movie. However, his baby's mama, Shaniqua, and son, Marquise, were there. Both are okay after being treated for smoke inhalation. According to reports, one of the firefighters on the scene reports that this fire has “a strong, strong possibility (of being) suspicious”. There is a lot to be said considering Shaniqua is stating that 50 has something to do with the house being set on fire, since they've been fighting over the home. The investigation is ongoing.

We'll have to see what happens.

For The Usher Fans....

Usher covers the July Issue of Vibe mag. Maybe he'll have something worth reading but I wouldn't count on it he is pretty dry... Another read while you shop the aisle features for sure! More importantly the mag is going into detail about boy bands such as Immature and B2K, I also hear that Chris Stokes sets the record straight so.... Usher may have some help getting the mag off the shelves!

Another Day Another Dollar: TI Gets a New Show

Seems like everyone and they momma is getting into the reality show game and now TI is getting a piece of the pie. According to sources the rapper is set to air all his dirty laundry via MTV! Peep the details below thanks to Variety.com:

“[MTV] will follow the hip-hop star as he performs more than 1,000 of community service before beginning to serve his one-year prison sentence next spring. Ish Entertainment is behind the untitled series, which has scored an eight-episode order from MTV. Cameras already chronicled T.I.’s release from house arrest, and shooting will start in earnest this summer, leading up to his return to jail in early 2009. MTV plans to air the show some time soon after that.”

Hmmm... sounds like good enough TV to me, between Tiny's ghetto ass, the kids, and hella community service, I'm sure he will keep us entertained!

“Courthouse observers are expecting fireworks today, as the trial’s most controversial witness is set to take the stand for the prosecution.

The woman, who lives in Georgia, is slated to testify about a three-way sexual encounter she had with both the R&B superstar and his alleged victim. She also is expected to identify the girl in the tape and tell the jury she was a minor at the time of the recording.”

Jada's New Movie

Jada Pinkett-Smith is making her directorial debut in The Human Contract.

The movie is about:

Ray J Gets Caught With Something Illegal!

Seems like Ray J has been doing more than just Whitney lately, he was recently caught with drugs in his possession peep this via my good friends over at TMZ:

We’re told Ray J went to his room after partying it up, when hotel management got a complaint. It appears security went up to the room where they allegedly found all the drug stuff.

Our sources say the singer tried to bribe hotel security so he could stay but they didn’t bite. We’re told Ray J went crazy, arguing like a mutha. Eventually, Mr. J’s own security came to the hotel and carted him away.

Police were called, but no one was busted [and] Ray J had to check into a Holiday Inn down the street.

Ray J’s rep [says] “The altercation did not directly affect Ray J — it was people in his entourage. But he did the gentlemanly thing and left the hotel anyway.”

Damn Ray J can you stay out of trouble just for a minute!

Sean Bell's Family Gets a Little Justice

The NY cops who were involved in the murder of Sean Bell are finally receiving some punishment for their unexplainable behavior.

"Detectives Marc Cooper, Gescard Isnora and Michael Oliver, who were acquitted on April 25, are each accused of firing their weapons outside of NYPD departmental guidelines - charges that could result in their being fired, according to police officials.

Rev. Al Sharpton, who has organized city-wide protests in reaction to the criminal acquittal, is demanding that the Justice Department try the three cops for violating Bell's civil rights. He called the internal charges "a step in the right direction."

“The R&B star’s manager calls an anonymously sourced breakup report on the [internet] ‘100 percent not true.’

‘Usher and Tameka are currently traveling in Europe together as a family on his promotional tour,’ Benny Medina [said]. ‘This rumor is completely false.’ Not to mention, Tameka—who’s also the mother of 6-month-old Usher Raymond V—was spotted with her hubby of nearly nine months at an MTV taping on Sunday.”
