Two men were stabbed to death on a downtown No. 2 train early Sunday, police said.
Police responded to 911 calls just after 5 a.m. At the Varick Street train station in Manhattan. Upon arrival, they found three people stabbed on the Brooklyn-bound train.
The third victim, identified as a 23-year-old man, suffered stab wounds to the arm and neck and is in stable condition at St. Vincent's.
