After an eight-year run hosting her own syndicated talk show and one tumultuous season at “The View,” Rosie O’Donnell will return to daytime television next year courtesy of her longtime mentor, Oprah Winfrey.
It was announced last night that the outspoken personality will host a talk show on the forthcoming Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). Fans, according to the network press release, “can anticipate a fun, uplifting show with Ms. O’Donnell’s playful and energetic style.”
