*This Christmas season in D.C., Common will treat the country to his magnificent presence as the host of the 87th Annual National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, says the National Park Service.
Along with Common, the legendary blues singer B.B. King, and on the other side of the spectrum, 9-year-old Jackie Evancho will be performing on the national stage.
