LEBRON’S NEW MOVIE

There are plenty of groups that have been called "the Fab Five" -- the Beatles, the Spice Girls, and the freshman and sophomore starters of the University of Michigan men's basketball team, which included the likes of Chris Webber and Jalen Rose.

While they all had a short run, there's one group of five from Akron, Ohio, that has been fabulous longer than any of the others. In the inspirational coming-of-age documentary 'More Than a Game,' which hits theaters Oct. 2, NBA superstar LeBron James, along with Dru Joyce III, Romeo Travis, Sian Cotton and Willie McGee, tell their story of a team of guys who played together and went on to become lifelong friends.

Mary J. Blige's Video For Lebron James Film

 

Lionsgate has released the music video for Mary J. Blige's newest single, 'Stronger.' The video features the talented players from 'More Than a Game,' a remarkable true-life coming-of-age story about friendship and loyalty in the face of adversity.

Five young basketball players from Akron, Ohio, who are coached by a charismatic but inexperienced father and led by future NBA superstar LeBron James, embark on an improbable seven-year journey that leads them from a decrepit inner-city gym to the doorstep of a national high school championship.

Along the way, the close-knit team is repeatedly tested on and off the court, as James' exploding worldwide celebrity threatens to destroy everything they've set out to achieve together.

Shaq and Lebron join forces!!

Shanquille O'Neal has been traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers to play with Lebron James. The Cavs had to give Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic their 46th pick in the NBA draft and a 500,000 contract. Lebron will become a free agent after the 2010 season and the Cavs are trying to give him a championship and they think with the help from Shaq it can happen the deal is set to be finalized today.

Lebron James Tells Mom to "Sit Your @$$ Down"

Okay Lebron, call it "in the heat of the moment" or whatever, but to tell your mom to "Sit Your @$$ Down"! Goodness!!! Well all, that's what happened in the Cavs game against the Celtics.

In an interview with Fox Sports, Lebron stated:

"I told her to sit down with some language I shouldn't have used. Thank God today wasn't Mother's Day, it was yesterday," James said after Monday night's 88-77 victory.

"Even though that's my mother, the commissioner doesn't care if it's your mother or your kids or anybody, you can't allow fans and players to get involved like that. And I can't afford for my mom not to be at every last one of my games."

Umm, yeah. I would've still been picking myself up off the floor after my Mama slapped the mess out of me!
