Britney Spears didn't even bother trying to fake-sing in her second comeback show, chewing gum through her lip-synching -- and she left the stage even more quickly than she did the night before.
Cellphones and cameras were taken from fans who waited two hours to get into the House of Blues in Anaheim, Ca., reports People, after video and photos popped up everywhere on the Internet. For its trouble, the crowd was treated to a 12-minute set (three minutes shorter than Tuesday's show in San Diego) during which Spears chomped her gum during songs, when she should've been singing, or at least making a reasonable simulation of doing so.

Britney Spears may have been busy partying with pals Paris Hilton andLindsay Lohan in 2006, but she still managed to give US $585,000 to charity, including a huge donation to Hurricane Katrina relief programmes. The singer's Spears Foundation also gave money to a cancer appeal, a summer camp and an offshoot of Hollywood's Kabbalah Centre. Spears found the time to make the generous donations despite all her personal troubles in 2006, including her split from husband Kevin Federline and post-partum depression.Good work Britney, but I have to ask... an offshoot of Hollywood's Kabbalah Centre?

Celebrity Warship reports:Paris Hilton and Britney Spears may no longer be homegirls, but they still have a couple things in common, namely Perry the Manny. We first became acquainted with Perry the Manny last year, when he was employed as Britney’s bodyguard. He has since moved on to guarding Paris on the set of The Simple Life.
Paris stepped out with the hunky bodyguard/nanny (full name: Perry Taylor) in West Hollywood on April 11, a little less than a year after he accompanied Britney and her son Sean on a stroll in Malibu (above).
Perry, 29, a U.S. Naval Academy graduate, enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame last year, reportedly making Kevin Federline jealous because Britney and the manny spent so much time together while she and Kevin were estranged. (Britney and Perry both denied rumors of a romance.)
But despite his association with Britney, Paris actually met him first. “He was Paris’ security guard on the first two seasons of The Simple Life, in 2003 and 2004,” an insider close to the heiress tells Life & Style. “She still uses him from time to time as a private security guard.”
I kind of feel bad for this guy. He made it through the Naval Academy, just so he could push celebrity strollers and pick up celebrity dog doo-doo?

Britney Spears Celebrates Divorce
Britney Spears checks out the party scene on Thursday at West Hollywood lounge Bridgewith her cousin Alli after a five-hour divorce settlement meeting with ex-hubby-to-be Kevin Federline.
Sources say K-Fed will make out with $1 million and have joint custody of their two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
The settlement was negotiated at the L.A. office of Britney’s attorney, Laura Wasser. Federline was represented by Kaplan and Jim Simon.
And in case you forgot, she’s still wearing a wig!
