Obama, born of mixed heritage, is the son of a black father from Kenya and a white mother from Kansas, giving him the opportunity to choose the “mixed race” option on the Census form However, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said the president didn’t hesitate to answer the question, reports USA Today.
