DOROTHY HEIGHT: GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN

Memorial services for civil rights matriarch Dorothy I. Height will take place next week in D.C. and are expected to draw an array of civil rights figures and dignitaries, according to the Washington Post.

On Tuesday, a public viewing will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Dorothy I. Height headquarters of the National Council of Negro Women (633 Pennsylvania Ave. NW), which Height directed for 40 years.
