Solange Parts Ways with Interscope Records

A few months back there were rumors swirling around that Solange had been dropped from Interscope Records, but now it seems that the rumors have actually came true.  Solange announced via Twitter ,like every other celeb, that she is no longer a part of Interscope.  Read what she had to say below.

“Although it’s been a wonderful journey & experience at Interscope Records, after truly recognizing what’s important to me as an artist I decided it was time for me to continue my path on a  more independent platform.”

When Solange first shaved off her hair there were a lot of haters talking ISH, but I liked it from the jump. She didn’t just shave off her sides (which is the new trend in Hollywood) she took it a step further and shaved her entire head, and she wasn’t copying Amber Rose because she shaved her hair a few years back when no one knew who Amber was.

The newest celeb to shave off her locks, at least some of them, is Keyshia Cole. Keyshia switched her hair-do up a little by adding colorful stars to her sides, and I must say I am loving the look.

Solange Takes it All Off

Seems that Solange is the newest celeb to shave off her locks, except she took an extra step and shaved it all off.  I am definitely loving this new “natural” fad and I think it is better than a head full of weave.

Oh where would the world be with out Twitter??? Still wondering if the rumors about Solange being dropped from Geffen records are true LMAO, I am sure no one really cares but for those who do Solo let it be known that she didn't get dropped by Geffen. Read what she had to say via Twitter below:

Solange Collapses and is Rushed to Hospital!

Looks like Solange OD'd on some meds last night and had to be rushed to a hospital! Read the details below:

R&B star SOLANGE KNOWLES was admitted to hospital when she collapsed after downing flu pills on a flight out of New York on Tuesday night (17Feb09).
Beyonce’s younger sister was treated by medics after taking the capsules onboard a plane and suffering an adverse reaction to the medication.
Her muddled mental state was laid bare in a series of bizarre postings on social networking website Twitter.com which she uploaded during the journey.
But three hours into the trip, her messages suddenly stopped after she complained of feeling sleepy - and three hours later she logged back on to the website to tell fans: “Woaah…… How’d I end up in the hospital?”
Knowles is believed to have been heading back to her home in Los Angeles after attending the opening of an Armani store in New York on Tuesday evening.

Immediately after coming back to a clear state of mind Solange posted this about the incident:

“I’ve never passed out before. S**t was like the movies. People standing over me saying ‘hello’… My mom is the best. LOL (laugh out loud). She’s like ‘Ain’t nothing wrong with this girl, she need some water and rest… Pull up the car!’ LOL
“I’m like still in shock. I’ve never passed out before. Think it was the nyquil too. I felt weird when I woke up. This has been the day from hell. I’m done with the second IV. I just want to get in the bed and lay with (son) Julez. That’s all I want.
The singer later confirmed she had been released following treatment, writing: “I’m out! yay!… they let me go….. Rest. Water. Rest. Water.”

Solange Jumps in Round 2 of Her Sister's Feud with Janet

Beyonce's little sis Solange is backing her up in her feud with Janet Jackson. It is reported that Solange almost laughed when asked about the situation and she defended B by saying,

"What ever. Beyonce ain’t scared of Janet. All my sister did was tell the truth…she wasn’t trying to hurt nobody".

Now I know that Solange might be feeling all big and bold but she might want to stay out of this one. I am pretty sure she doesn't want Janet to bring any of her siblings into the feud considering that there is about 10 of them.

Solange, Jamie Foxx, and Meagan Good Partying it Up in the MIA!!!

The stars rolled out in MIA this week for the New Year's Eve party at Karu & Y. Among the guest were Solange who was looking FABULOUS, and letting it be known that she can outshine big sister B.

Solange: All Grown Up

Okay guys, Solange is set on letting us know she's all grown up. The 22-year old is going to be shocking fans with the song, "ChampagneChronicNightcap". The song is about smoking marijuana and making love and features Lil Wayne.

Solange states that every track on the album, Sol-AngeL & The Hadley St. Dreams, is written from personal experience. She tells Giant magazine, “I am unapologetic; I don’t write about things unless they’re true. I’m a grown-a$$ woman and I’ve experienced grown-a$$ things.”

Yeah, you've experienced grown thangs: baby, married, divorced, & from what's being said, the album tells more.
