Eddie Murphy's rumored wedding with Tracey Edmonds turns out to be true. The actor exchanged vows with his new spouse Tuesday on a private island off the coast of Bora Bora in French Polynesia. Only a small number of select guests were invited, according to People Magazine.
The two began dating last fall and were engaged in July. The actor had recently fathered a child with Melanie Brown, one of the former Spice Girls. The relationship was very public, as the child's paternity was questioned by Murphy. It turned out that he was indeed the father.
Murphy is now 46 years old with five children from a previous marriage to his former wife Nicole. She filed for divorce in 2005.
Edmonds is 40 and has two sons from her 13 year marriage to Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. She is the head of Edmonds Entertainment Group, Inc. and has produced the film and tv series "Soul Food".
