*On the heels of news this morning that Oprah Winfrey will host a new one-hour show on her new Oprah Winfrey Network titled “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” the mogul made it official later Thursday with more details about the program, and announced four other shows that are set to debut when the cable channel launches on Jan. 1, 2011.
Speaking to advertisers at the annual upfronts in New York, Winfrey described “Oprah’s Next Chapter” as a show that will have “more riveting conversations with the people we all want to hear from, in some very unexpected places.”
