Ne-Yo's newest song, 'Never Knew I Needed,' has been selected as the lead soundtrack single and featured end credit song for Walt Disney's forthcoming 'The Princess and the Frog' movie, arriving in theaters Dec. 11.
The song (a snippet of can be heard here) was serviced to radio outlets late last week and will appear on the soundtrack, which will be available Nov. 23.
The film's star, Anika Noni Rose, along with actors Jenifer Lewis, Keith David and Academy Award-winning composer Randy Newman, will also be featured on the soundtrack, which is family-friendly fare fusing the sounds of jazz, zydeco, blues and gospel.Ne-Yo
