As University of Connecticut students were planning a day of mourning Tuesday for a fallen football player, police continued to investigate persons of interest in the case.
At press time, no one was charged in the stabbing death of 20-year-old Jasper Howard, who was assaulted during a fight outside a university-sponsored dance that reportedly involved several UConn football players.
