Good Morning Friends. IT’S VALENTINES DAY. I know, I know. Not everyone is excited about the V-DAY. I’ve been sick this weekend. I am a victim to the weather. I haven’t been dressing as warmly as I should; now I’m paying for it. I’ve been in taking day-and night cold/flu medicine all weekend, and when I got up this morning I had to drink a five hour energy drink just to get a boost. I have a full day of classes ahead of me. I can’t afford to be sick, nor can I afford to rest.
In Frankfort, Kentucky the sun is beaming, and the wind is blowing steady. God granted Love Birds a beautiful day. I woke up weak in my body, but strong in my mind and heart about love. This beautiful weather of Valentine’s Day reminded me of a good love that I once had. My first Love! My heart smiles every time I think of God making someone so close to perfect.
Every day was February 14 with him. He was caring, he was wise, he was honest, he was strong, he was compassionate, he was mature, he was selfless, he was beautiful, he was forgiving, he was understanding, Wooooooooo. God took his precious time making him. He was creative, he was everything to me. He gave roses without reasoning. He would lend me his ear to talk off; he gave his shoulder for me to lean on.
I remember a love, I remember a good love.
Today, Ladies we won’t be insecure about not having a particular love to share this day with. We won’t be upset and sad about being single, and nor will we feel unwanted. Today we will celebrate “GOOD LOVE”.
We will celebrate the love we have awaiting to be released and reciprocated to someone that is deserving of it. We will celebrate the good dates, good movies, good times, and good sex we’ve encountered when we connected with love at some point and time in our lives. I’m happy about today.
I’m going to spend this Valentine’s Day celebrating “Good Love”. I’m thinking, how “I wish my first love could have been my last love, and I would no longer search for love.” Place yourself in a time of joy, and celebrate today. Celebrate today with a friend, a companion, or love.
The balloons and bears are nice, but that isn’t the true meaning of it. It’s his heart you want not the things that Wal-Mart is selling. Every year you can get a bear, and a rose, but the possession of his heart is much more rewarding.
For those of you, who have lost a love one; A love that is no longer on this earth. I send hope and healing to you on this day of Love.
Happy Valentine’s Day
Madam Prezident
